ABOUT FACTORING

Factoring services in Greece are offered under Law 1905/90, which is fully aligned with the international operational practices, and consist of the following service types, grouped in products:

• Management and Accounting control of Accounts Receivables

• Collection of Receivables

• Credit Assessment of the buyers

• Financing in the form of advance payment to the Seller on the value of its trade receivables  

• Coverage of credit risk of debtors

The different service types are grouped into products, primarily according to whether the transactions are taking place in the domestic market (Domestic Factoring), or abroad (Export Factoring) and subsequently to whether there is credit risk coverage (Factoring Without Recourse), or not (Factoring with Recourse).
