REGULATORY ORGANISATIONS

ABC Factors is supervised by the Bank of Greece, to which it reports in compliance with the Bank of Greece Governor’s Act 2651/20.1.2012, which replaced former Act 2640/18.1.2011.

The minimum equity and capital adequacy requirements are specified by respective Acts of the Governor of the Bank of Greece.

As of January 1st 2011, the calculation of capital adequacy is performed under the new regulatory framework (Basel II), which was incorporated into the Greek legal system by Law 3601/2007, and also applies to Factoring companies, based on the Bank of Greece Governor’s Act 2622/21.12.2009.
